About Us
Hiya 💕
I’m Shilprina - founder of Serenity Pilates Studio and a lifelong lover of Pilates.
My journey with Pilates began during my university days, following along with Casey Ho’s (AKA Blogilates) workouts on YouTube in my teenie tiny uni accommodation. It was a way to move, de-stress, and feel connected to my body when everything else sometimes felt like too much.

My relationship deepened during lockdown, when Pilates became my sanctuary whilst gyms were shut. Trust me not being able to weight train killed me inside.
After a recent hip injury, I returned to Pilates as a form of gentle rehab and it reminded me just how powerful and healing this practice can be. I then received an early arthritis diagnosis and it was a moment that changed my perspective irrevocably. Suddenly, movement wasn’t just about fitness—it was about gratitude, presence, and honoring what my body can do.

Serenity Pilates was born from this mindset: to nurture a space in my life where every movement feels meaningful, and where Pilates is more than exercise—it’s self-care.
As an avid cute sock wearing girlie, I found myself gravitating towards cutesy neutral designs that still felt like a little treat to wear. Whether that was to unwind and de-stress during an evening reformer class or whilst holding on for dear life doing a challenging mat or hot sculpt class from home, these little socks quickly became my little emotional support grippies with their cute bows, insanely soft and supportive material and amazing grip!
Side note: they also work an absolute treat at the gym when you want to get your feet as stable and flat as possible without slipping all over the place. My personal favourite is during leg day *chefs kiss*.

Whether you're new to the mat or deep into your wellness journey, this is your invitation to move with purpose, grace, and compassion.
Let’s make every moment of movement matter and let’s continue to honour our bodies through grace (and cute grippies).
As Joseph Pilates once said “a girl can never have too many grip socks.” (May not be an accurate quote or may have been quoted by some random on TikTok but I’m sure good old Joseph would agree lol)
